Bandits kill one, abduct three in Kano group

Armed bandits have killed one individual and kidnapped three others in Yankamaye city, Tsanyawa Native Authorities Space of Kano State.

Hon. Sani Bala Tsanyawa, lawmaker representing Ghari and Tsanyawa Federal Constituency, confirmed the assault in a publish on his official Fb web page.

“Certainly, we belong to Allah and to Him we will return. We’re simply receiving studies that bandits have attacked the previous city of Yankamaye in Tsanyawa Native Authorities Space, the place they killed one individual and kidnapped three others,” he wrote.

Reviews mentioned the assault occurred round 11 pm on Saturday when most residents had retired to mattress.

SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, spokesperson of the Kano State Police Command, confirmed the incident, saying, “We have now obtained studies of the assault and personnel have been deployed to make sure the rescue of the victims.”

Yankamaye is positioned alongside the border with Kankia Native Authorities Space of Katsina State, a area that has repeatedly witnessed banditry and kidnappings.

The assault is the second in Tsanyawa LGA in a single week, following the kidnapping of ten girls within the Sundu and Biresawa communities on Tuesday.
