Troops of 12 Brigade of the Nigerian Military have rescued two kidnapped victims and recovered ₦3.8 million ransom in Kogi state.
The operation was carried out on November 2, following credible intelligence on kidnapping actions alongside the Itobe–Adumu–Ejule axis.
In response to the military, the rescue mission was launched after reviews indicated that kinfolk of some kidnapped individuals have been trying to ship ransom to safe their launch.
Troops from the Ahead Working Base (FOB) in Oguma swiftly moved to intercept the bandits in Achigili Forest.
