Famend Islamic scholar Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi has handed away after a chronic sickness.
In response to household sources, the revered cleric, who was over 100 years previous, handed away on Wednesday.
The information was later introduced by former presidential media aide, Bashir Ahmad, in a put up on X.
He wrote, “It’s with a heavy coronary heart and full submission to the need of Allah (SAW) that we obtain the information of the passing of our revered chief, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, one of many leaders of the Tijjaniyya order in Nigeria.
“Could Allah forgive his shortcomings, settle for his noble deeds and grant him Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.”
Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi was thought to be one in every of Nigeria’s most influential Islamic students.
