Nigeria’s inflation fee fell for the seventh consecutive month in October 2025, easing to 16.05 per cent from 18.02 per cent recorded in September.
This was revealed within the October Client Value Index (CPI) and inflation report launched on Monday by the Nationwide Bureau of Statistics (NBS).
In response to the info, the headline inflation fee declined by 0.93 per cent month-on-month, whereas meals inflation recorded a -0.37 per cent change on a month-on-month foundation.
The NBS said on X, “In October 2025, the headline inflation fee eased to 16.05 per cent relative to the September 2025 headline inflation fee of 18.02 per cent. The headline inflation fee was 0.93 per cent MoM.
The meals inflation fee was -0.37 per cent MoM.”
Analysts had earlier projected a continued slowdown in inflation for October, consistent with current developments.
