The Lagos State Police Command has declared activist Omoyele Sowore wished over an alleged plan to incite public dysfunction and block main roads within the state.
Commissioner of Police, Olohundare Jimoh, introduced this on Monday on the Iyana-Oworo part of the Third Mainland Bridge, saying the command is closing in on Sowore and others accused of coordinating actions aimed toward disrupting peace.
“Sowore ought to give up on the nearest police station or face arrest wherever he’s discovered,” Jimoh warned.
“Anybody trying to trigger disturbance or block our roads will face the total weight of the regulation.”
In keeping with him, intelligence reviews indicated that Sowore and his associates deliberate to stage demonstrations at key areas together with the Third Mainland Bridge, Lekki Tollgate, and Freedom Park — a transfer he described as harmful and able to inflicting severe visitors chaos.
