The Inspector Normal of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, on Thursday confirmed the withdrawal of 11,566 police personnel hooked up to Very Necessary Individuals as escorts nationwide.
Egbetokun disclosed this throughout a strategic assembly with senior law enforcement officials from the rank of Commissioner and above.
He said that the motion was consistent with the directive of President Bola Tinubu, which is already being applied accordingly.
