A joint operation involving personnel of the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and the Police on Tuesday night time rescued Mrs. Ladi Abel, the 45-year-old spouse of a senior Immigration officer, who was kidnapped alongside the Lagos–Badagry Expressway whereas heading to the Commerce Truthful Complicated in Lagos.
Confirming the event, the Public Relations Officer of the NIS, Seme Border Command, Mr. Isaac Elijah, stated the sufferer was rescued round 11:45 p.m. at a swampy space situated at 47, Ogunleye Road, Ibereko, after the abductors deserted their hideout on sensing that safety operatives had been closing in.
